1. Your Contract

You must be over 21 years of age to make a booking.

When a booking is made, the 'name' on the booking guarantees that he or she has the authority to accept and does accept on behalf of the party the terms of these booking conditions. After we receive your booking and all appropriate payments, if the arrangements you wish to book are available, we will issue a confirmation invoice. A binding agreement will come into existence between us when we dispatch this invoice to the 'name'. This contract is governed by English Law, and the jurisdicton of the English Courts. You may however, choose the law and jurisdiction of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you wish to do so.

It is important to check the details on your invoice when you get it, or if booking late at the time of booking, that all the details are exactly as you requested. In the event of any discrepancy, please contact us immediately as it may not be possible to make changes later.

2. Prices & Accuracy

The price stated on the website is for 1 week self catering accomodation at Chalet G16, Riviere Towans, Hayle, Cornwall and includes VAT at the current rate.

A security deposit of £150 shall be added to every booking, the security deposit will be refunded in full 7 days after your departure from the accomodation providing that:-

 i. There are no breakages or damage to the building, fixtures or fittings including (but not limited to) items such as plates, cups, glasses, appliances etc. (For minor breakages such as plates, cups, glasses etc we request you replace them.)

 ii. The accomodation has been left in a clean and tidy state.

 iii. Excessive amounts of rubbish do not have to be removed due to not placing waste in the provided wheelie bin.

 iv. You have not smoked in the property.

 v. You have not taken a pet to the property.

Electricity is included, car charging is not supported. Domestic electric vehicle chargers of any sort including low power trickle, are not suitable for use at the property and are strictly forbidden. You are liable for any damage, excess electric use or loss suffered by us due to your unauthorised use of domestic EV chargers.

Although we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the website information and prices at the time of loading, regrettably errors do occasionally occur. You must therefore ensure you check the price and all other details of your chosen arrangements with us at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation

A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking. Final payment including £150 refundable security deposit required 6 weeks before holiday date.

If your booking cannot go ahead due to Government enforced travel restrictions, any monies paid will be refunded. Any other reason is non refundable unlessbooking is taken to cover the booking.

4. Departure & Arrival Times

You may enter the chalet after 3PM on the arrival day.

You must leave the chalet by 10AM on the departure day.

Keys are collected from the keysafe on the chalet and must be deposited back in the keysafe when leaving.

5. General Terms

When making a booking you agree to the following general terms:-

No alteration shall be made to the building, fixtures or fittings.

Fixtures and fittings may not be removed from the accomodation.

Please do not move any furniture from one room to another or any of the indoor furniture, furnishings or bedlinen outside.

All inventory must remain in the property and not be taken to another property.

Please lock the doors and close the windows when you leave the property unoccupied.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the property, failure to comply will result in loss of the security deposit and you shall be liable for any damage caused.

Pets are not allowed.

We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings left at or in the accommodation.

You must provide your own bed linen and towels. (2025 bookings bed linen is provided)

When departing at the end of your stay the accomodation must be left in a clean and tidy state.

The wheelie bin located at the rear of the chalet is for general waste and is only to be used by G16 guests, the bin must not be moved from the rear of the chalet, our waste management company will empty it on Fridays.

Fireworks, Chinese lanterns, firepits, candles and portable bbqs are prohibited.

Wi-Fi - the guest agrees to reasonable and lawful usage.

We reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement with immediate effect where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others. You will be asked to leave the property, without any refund of the rental amount paid.

6. Transfer

This contract is not transferable without the permisssion of Nimbus Designs Ltd.

The client under no circumstances may re-let or sublet the property.

7. Right to Enter

We reserve the right to enter the property for maintenance, we shall give as much notice as possible should the need occur.
